Evaluation

Question 1.
In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

Question 2.
How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary tasks?

Question 3.
What have you learned from your audience feedback?

Question 4.
How did you use new media technologies in the construction and research, planning and evaluation stages?
I used blogger to present the whole of my coursework, this was good you can present all of the research and planning together and it is easy to edit any weak pieces of work.
I used premier pro for the first. This is software in order to create and edit my video. I used this software because it is very high tech and it is available at college. I also used Photoshop to create my poster and magazine, this was relevant software to use because it also great for editing although it is only editing the print work.
I used YouTube to upload videos including for the other questions on this evaluation and to upload trailer. When uploading to YouTube the size of the film is compressed and is then allowed to be uploaded to blogger. I have also embedded existing YouTube videos to present my research and planning. Finally YouTube is good because it is quicker to load.
Lastly, I used a video camera and a still camera to film the footage for my trailer and to take photographs for my print tasks. The cameras both had high resolution and a lot of megapixels, this means the footage and the photographs are high quality.

First idea For Magazine

I decided not to continue making this front cover because it didn’t look very professional and the image looks to happy. Also it isn’t very conventional as you can see too much scenery because I have used a long shot. It does not look like a professional photograph and it looks like the characters have been photoshpped into the background. I am now planning on taking some more photos and put a picture of a friend as if it is the director on the front cover.

audience feedback

I made a group on facebook and invited people to privately watch my trailer and for them to fill in my survey. i also made a comment for them to tell the truth about what they think.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?hl=en_GB&pli=1&formkey=dFM5UFdTLTl5eTlIVV9yUWlwRXpCemc6MQ#gid=0

this is the survey i made for people to fill out.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AjmVsVFPdpPtdFM5UFdTLTl5eTlIVV9yUWlwRXpCemc&hl=en_GB&pli=1#gid=0

and these are the results presented in a spreadsheet.

Poster Flat Plan

I have chosen to have the working title logo because my actors will not be well known and even putting a director’s name this would not persuade people to watch the film. I have chosen working title because they are mainly known for producing great romantic comedies.
The pictures are separated because they are not together and the white in the middles shows this.
For the film title I will use the same text and font as it is in the trailer.
I am going to put a white strip in the middle because it separates the couple, as in the film the girl moves away.
